Where a thick PUF panel is used
The 100 mm panel is the cold-chain panel: freezer rooms, blast rooms, chambers that hold a temperature far below the outside air. The foam does the insulating, and 100 mm of it is the most our range offered on 25 Sep 2026. Whether a chamber needs 100 mm or 80 mm is the refrigeration designer's call from the storage temperature, the climate and the running hours; the panel matches the design.
Two costs follow the thickness. At the gate, the 100 mm wall panel was ₹ 175 per sqm more than the 80 mm on 23 Sep 2026 (0.5 / 0.5 mm, 3,000 sqm slab). On the road, a 32 ft container carries about 606 sqm of 100 mm wall panel against about 760 sqm of 80 mm, so the same fare spreads over fewer sqm.

From 50 mm to 100 mm the roof panel added ₹ 467 per sqm that day and the wall panel ₹ 460; the extra foam is the whole of the difference, because sheet, coating, width and colour are the same at every thickness. A buyer pricing a freezer against a chiller is pricing foam depth and nothing else.
