A PUF panel for poultry or dairy work is chosen at the light end of the range: a 30 or 50 mm roof panel and, where the shed is closed, a 40 or 50 mm wall panel. The roof is the whole point in a bird shed — it is what stands between the flock and the afternoon sun. On 23 September 2026 the 30 mm roof panel with 0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets was ₹ 1,111 per sqm and the 50 mm ₹ 1,269 per sqm at the 3,000 sqm slab, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra (factory prices on 23 Sep 2026). Specification and today's rate: 30 mm roof panel specification.
PUF panel for poultry: what the roof does in a shed
A plain metal roof in May is a radiator. An insulated roof panel puts foam between the hot sheet and the birds, so the underside stays close to the air temperature inside rather than the sheet temperature outside. The thicker the foam, the less heat gets through, and the more it costs. In a cooler district, or a shed run with fans and pads that do most of the cooling, 30 mm may be what the design calls for; in a hot, still district the designer may specify 50 mm. The climate, the ventilation design and the stocking density decide; the panel matches the design.

Agri shed insulation: the roof, worked

GST and freight per truck are separate lines. Two sheds of this size ordered together as one panel type reach the 1,500 sqm slab, at ₹ 20 per sqm less.
PUF panel for dairy farm: closed sheds
A dairy shed that is closed and ventilated adds walls. The 40 mm wall panel is the lightest in the range, 1.15 m wide on a 1150 mm module; the 50 mm is the next step. Both carried a 750 sqm trial slab on 23 Sep 2026 in the 0.5 / 0.5 mm version. A wall run of 100 m at 3 m high is 88 panels and about 304 sqm — below any slab on its own, which is where combining sheds of the same panel into one order matters.
Poultry shed PUF sheet price: the terms
The rate is ex-factory Kathua; GST and freight per truck on actuals are extra. A slab is per panel type per order; roof and wall reach their slabs separately. Panels are made to order and full payment books the slot; the earliest production date shown is a planned start, not a delivery promise.
Frequently asked questions
Which PUF panel thickness for a poultry shed roof?
The designer sets it from the climate, the ventilation and the stocking. Our roof panels start at 30 mm; 50 mm is the next step, and on 23 Sep 2026 cost ₹ 158 per sqm more at the 3,000 sqm slab.
What is the poultry shed PUF sheet price per sq ft?
We price and bill per sqm. The figure on 23 Sep 2026 for the 30 mm roof panel with 0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets was ₹ 1,111 per sqm — about ₹ 103 per sq ft. The conversion is for reference only; the invoice is per sqm.
Can a small farm order below 750 sqm?
No; 750 sqm of one panel type is the smallest slab, on the panels that carry it. Two sheds of the same panel in one order reach a slab together.
Is the coating suitable for a wash-down shed?
The coating is multi-coat, 20 µ top and 10 µ back, to IS 15965 / ISO 16163. Chemical resistance figures are not on our pages; ask for the designer's view for the wash-down regime.
