A PUF panel for pharma or food-processing work is a wall panel: flat on both faces, the same 0.5 mm sheet on each, on a 1150 mm module so that a corridor has as few joints as the geometry allows. Our 50, 60 and 80 mm wall panels are the ones that fit. On 23 September 2026 the 60 mm wall panel with 0.5 / 0.5 mm sheets was ₹ 1,372 per sqm at the 3,000 sqm slab, the 50 mm ₹ 1,284 and the 80 mm ₹ 1,569, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra (factory prices on 23 Sep 2026). Specification and today's rate: 60 mm wall panel specification.
PUF panel for pharma: what a process room asks of a wall
Three things. A face that can be washed and does not hold dirt: flat, painted steel. As few joints as possible, because every joint is a line to seal and a place for dirt to sit. And enough insulation to hold the room's temperature where the process needs it, which for a packing hall is a little and for a cold-chain corridor is more. The classification the room must meet, and the joint, coving and flush details that meet it, are the designer's; the panel supplies the face, the module and the foam.

The 50 mm is the partition panel; the 60 mm the step up for a room that is held cool; the 80 mm the cold-chain wall.
The joint count
On a 1150 mm module a 46 m corridor wall is exactly 40 panels and 40 joints. A partition grid of internal rooms is set out to the module so that doors fall between whole panels. The joint form and its sealing are not on our pages; what the module fixes is how many there are.
Clean room panel partitions, worked
A processing block with 320 m of internal partition and perimeter wall, 4 m high, in 60 mm wall panel.
| Line | Working | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Panels | 320 ÷ 1.15, rounded up | 279 panels, 4 m long |
| Area | 279 × 4 × 1.15 | 1,283.4 sqm |
| Slab reached | 750 – 1,499 sqm | 750 sqm trial |
| Rate, 60 mm, 0.5 / 0.5 mm, 23 Sep 2026 | ₹ 1,412 per sqm | |
| Panel value | 1,283.4 × ₹ 1,412 | ₹ 18,12,161 |
| Trucks | 4 m panels; about 1,020 sqm per full load at 32 ft length | two; loading plan confirms |
GST and freight per truck are separate lines. Adding 217 sqm of the same panel — one more room — lifts the order to the 1,500 sqm slab at ₹ 1,392 per sqm.
Food processing PUF panel: the terms
Ex-factory Kathua, cut to length, packed and loaded at the gate; GST and freight per truck extra. A slab is per panel type per order, so 60 mm partitions and 80 mm cold-room walls reach their slabs separately. Made to order; full payment books the slot; the earliest production date is a planned start, not a delivery promise.
Setting out a process block on the module
Partition grids are drawn to 1.15 m where the layout allows, so that doors and pass-throughs fall between whole panels and the number of cut panels is small. A room 6.9 m wide is exactly six panels; a room 7 m wide is six panels and a 10 cm strip, which is a joint and a cut for nothing. Ceilings over a suspended-ceiling void are roof panel or wall panel by the designer's choice and are a separate panel type for slab purposes.
Which thickness goes where
Three rooms, three answers, as the design typically sets them: a packing hall or corridor held near ambient, 50 mm; a room held cool for the product, 60 mm; a cold-chain store or blast area, 80 mm and above. The pages do not prescribe this; the designer does, from the room's temperature and use. What the buyer sees is the step in price: ₹ 88 per sqm from 50 to 60 mm and ₹ 197 from 60 to 80 mm on 23 Sep 2026 at the 3,000 sqm slab.
Frequently asked questions
Which PUF panel is used for pharma partitions?
A flat wall panel with the same sheet on both faces. Ours are the 50, 60 and 80 mm wall panels, 1.15 m wide on a 1150 mm module.
Is the PUF panel suitable for a classified clean room?
Our pages state the panel's face, module, core and coating; the room classification, joint sealing and coving are the designer's to specify and the installer's to achieve.
What is the clean room panel price per sqm?
On 23 Sep 2026 the 60 mm wall panel with 0.5 / 0.5 mm sheets was ₹ 1,372 per sqm at the 3,000 sqm slab, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra.
Can the wall panel be washed down?
The face is multi-coat pre-painted Galvalume, 20 µ on the face. Chemical resistance figures for particular cleaning regimes are not on our pages.
