PUF Panel Manufacturer in India — What to Check Before You Order

Choosing a PUF panel manufacturer in India: the seven questions whose answers can be checked at the gate, and what our own answers are.

Every PUF panel manufacturer in India will tell you the panel is good. The useful question is not "is it good" but "what, exactly, am I getting, and can I check it when the truck arrives". Below are seven things to ask any maker, in a form that can be checked with a micrometer, a coating gauge and a calendar. Our own answers are given alongside, as they stood on 25 September 2026; on 23 Sep 2026 our 50 mm roof panel with 0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets was ₹ 1,269 per sqm at the 3,000 sqm slab, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra. The specification lines below sit under every panel on the live factory price board.

1. Sheet thickness, in mm TCT, for each face

Ask for the top and bottom sheet separately, as nominal TCT (total coated thickness). "0.5 mm" on its own could be either face. A micrometer at the gate settles it.

Ours: 0.5 or 0.3 mm on each face, stated per panel; roof panels carry 0.3 mm below, wall panels the same sheet both sides.

2. Coating: uni-coat or multi-coat, and how many microns

This is the line most often missing from a quotation and the one that decides how the roof looks in year eight. Uni-coat is the cheaper sheet with the shorter life. Ask whether the colour-coated sheet is uni-coat or multi-coat, and ask for the coating in writing: top coat and back coat thickness in microns.

Ours: multi-coat, RMP, primer + top 20 µ total DFT, back 10 µ total DFT, IS 15965 / ISO 16163, printed on every panel.

3. Core density, in kg/m³

The weight of a cubic metre of foam. It is a check that the foam was fully formed. A lighter core is a saving that does not show on delivery day.

Ours: PUF 40 kg/m³ on every panel.

4. Chargeable width, in metres

The width the sqm is measured on. Two quotes per sqm are only comparable if the width is the same or the quantity has been worked on each maker's own width.

Ours: 1.00 m for roof panels, 1.15 m for wall panels.

5. Is the price a number or a conversation

Ask whether the rate is published, and what it carries: the panel, the slab, the basis, GST and freight, the date. A rate that changes with the buyer is not a rate.

Ours: one price per panel per volume slab, per sqm, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra, published with its time and the same for every buyer at that moment. On 23 Sep 2026 the record showed the 50 mm roof panel with 0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets at ₹ 1,269 per sqm at the 3,000 sqm slab (factory prices on 23 Sep 2026); every day since 21 Sep 2026 is on record. 6. Made to order or from stock, and what books the slot

Panels cut to your lengths cannot be sold to anyone else, so ask how production is scheduled and what the date on the quote means.

Ours: made to order, built against the order, not held in stock. Full payment books the slot. Each panel shows an earliest production date, a planned start, not a delivery promise. Roof and wall run on their own dedicated lines.

7. Where the panel is made

A factory address, and which lines the product runs on.

Ours: the plant at Kathua (J&K), with dedicated roof and wall lines. Dispatch by full truck to every state and union territory of India, freight per truck on actuals.

One thing we will not do

We don't trim panel quality to win the order. Trimming a specification saves very little on the invoice but costs the panel its quality and its life; a thinner coat or a lighter core shows years later, on the roof. That is stated on our home page and it is the reason the seven lines above are printed under every price.

Frequently asked questions

How do I verify a PUF panel manufacturer's specification?
Ask for each line in a checkable unit — mm TCT, µ DFT, kg/m³, m — in writing, and check the delivered panel against it.

Which PUF panel manufacturers in India publish their price?
We publish ours, per sqm, per panel, per slab, with its date, on the price board. On 23 Sep 2026 the 50 mm roof panel with 0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets was ₹ 1,269 per sqm at the 3,000 sqm slab, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra.

Does the sandwich panel manufacturer supply directly?
We supply any GST-registered business buying at a volume slab — trading firms, re-sellers, PEB and government contractors, and businesses building for themselves — by the lot, not the single sheet.

Where is the EasyPuf PUF panel factory?
Kathua, in Jammu and Kashmir.

EasyPuf makes PUF sandwich panels at Kathua (J&K) and publishes its factory price per sqm in public at easypuf.com/prices — ex-factory, GST and freight extra, pay to book — with every day's prices kept on record at easypuf.com/prices/archive. EasyPuf is a Pronto initiative. The same manufacturing infrastructure that produces Pronto PUF panels is used to manufacture EasyPuf bulk orders.
