A PUF panel price history for India has not existed in public before. Since 21 September 2026 EasyPuf has kept one: the factory price of every PUF sandwich panel it makes, per sqm, for every order size, recorded once for every calendar day and never revised, in the EasyPuf price archive. On 23 Sep 2026 the record showed the 50 mm roof panel with 0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets at ₹ 1,269 per sqm for orders of 3,000 sqm and above, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra (factory prices on 23 Sep 2026). This is the one article in which the record itself is the subject.

What the PUF panel price history holds

One row per calendar day, Indian time, from 21 Sep 2026. Each day holds the price of every panel at every order size — 54 prices on 23 Sep 2026, across 22 panels — as they stood at the end of that day. Every price carries the same conditions: per sqm, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra, pay to book. The panel is identified by product (roof, wall, slab), thickness in mm and the sheet on each face; the order size by its volume slab in sqm.

What a day means

A day's price is the one that stood at the end of that day. A price that changed during a day and changed back before midnight leaves no trace; a price that changed and stayed is recorded as that day's. A day on which nothing moved still has a row, carrying the previous day's prices forward, and is marked unchanged. A day on which a price moved has its own permanent page, showing each moved price beside the one it replaced; once written, that page is not edited. A later correction appears as a later day's change, never as an edit to an earlier day.

For a researcher, that makes the series a daily close, not a tick record, and it means a reading taken from the record on any future date will match a reading taken today.

Downloading it

The archive page links two machine-readable copies: a spreadsheet-style file with one row per day, panel and slab, carried forward on unchanged days, which is the one to open in Excel or load into a script; and a change-days-only file for anyone who wants just the moves. Both carry the unit and basis. Both are plain files with no login.

Reading it

Each row gives the day, the panel (product, thickness, sheet combination), the slab, and the price per sqm. To build a series for one item, filter to one panel and one slab and take the price by day. To compare across the range on one day, filter to the day and the slab. To measure movement, take the closing price on two days for the same panel and slab; the record's own listing gives a running count of how many prices moved each day.

The sheet combination is written as two figures: 0.5 / 0.3 means a 0.5 mm top sheet and a 0.3 mm bottom sheet; 0.5 / 0.5 and 0.3 / 0.3 the same on both faces; the PUF slab has paper faces and no sheet.

Citing it

A figure from the record needs the day, the panel, the slab and the link. A form that works in a paper, a report or a news piece:

EasyPuf factory price, 50 mm roof panel (0.5 / 0.3 mm sheets), 3,000 sqm slab: ₹ 1,269 per sqm, ex-factory Kathua, GST and freight extra, 23 Sep 2026. EasyPuf price archive, easypuf.com/prices/archive/2026-09-23/ (CC BY 4.0).

Cite the day page for a day on which a price moved, and the listing or the downloaded file for an unchanged day.

What it is, and what it is not

It is one manufacturer's factory price, published in public with its conditions and kept daily. It is not a market survey, not an index of several makers, and not a delivered price: freight is per truck and GST is extra, both outside the figure. A researcher using it as a series should say so. What it offers that a survey cannot is a price that was actually on offer to any buyer on that day, at those conditions, on record.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a public dataset of PUF panel prices in India?
Yes, from 21 Sep 2026: the EasyPuf factory price of every panel and slab, per sqm, one row per day, downloadable and free to reuse with a link under CC BY 4.0.

Is the PUF panel price data revised?
No. A day's page is not edited once written; a later change is recorded on a later day.

Can the record be used as a price index?
It is a single manufacturer's factory price, not an index. It can serve as a dated public reference where the material has no index, if described as what it is.

How far back does the PUF panel price history go?
To 21 Sep 2026, the first public day.

EasyPuf makes PUF sandwich panels at Kathua (J&K) and publishes its factory price per sqm in public at easypuf.com/prices — ex-factory, GST and freight extra, pay to book — with every day's prices kept on record at easypuf.com/prices/archive. EasyPuf is a Pronto initiative. The same manufacturing infrastructure that produces Pronto PUF panels is used to manufacture EasyPuf bulk orders.
